Most of Turkish state budget to be directed towards education

Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec.14 / Trend, R. Hafizoglu/ Most of state budget will be directed to education, Turkish TRT Turk TV channel quoted the country's President Abdullah Gul as saying on Friday. President Gul said that education is one of the priority spheres in Turkey. Earlier, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan also said that half of the Turkish state budget's funds have been allocated for education, and that the state will continue to pay great attention to this sphere. According to Erdogan, support for education is one of the government's priorities. "Turkey will continue to seek becoming one of the leading states in the field of education," Erdogan said.
