N.ALTANKHUYAG MEETS PEOPLE IN DORNOD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At the end of his working tour to Dornod aimag, the Premier N.Altankhuyag held on Monday a meeting with local people. He received proposals and complaints from them about quality of state service, welfare allowance, consumer goods price boost. They also raised issues such as benefits from the mining development, chance for young people to participate in the reform and great construction, road and infrastructure works. The PM and authorities of some Ministries and agencies replied to these matters, and introduced the gathered to biggest works and goals to be realized by the cabinet, for example, the cabinet intends to hace parliament adopted an amendment to the law on mineral resources this year, to create a legal environment for Dornod aimag to earn revenues from oil. The Premier also said that each soum will have a financing of MNT 50 million, Kherlen soum of the aimag's center will receive MNT 265 million for supporting the peope' initiatives on small- and middle-sized productions. He underlined that that locals must be creative in spending the money, and ordered the aimag's authority to put control over the spending. The people expressed satisfaction with several works started by the cabinet for reforms and said they want more reforms in more spheres. B.Khuder
