NATO liason officer: Azerbaijan - extremely important partner

Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 20 By Sabina Ahmadova - Trend: Azerbaijan is an extremely important partner for NATO, liason officer for Caucasus TBC William Lahue told journalists on November 21. "The important thing is that NATO and Azerbaijan continue to closely cooperate on Azerbaijan's objectives in the partnership with NATO," Lahue said. He also stressed the importance of Individual Partnership Action Plans (IPAP), which was signed last year. "We expect to sign IPAP again," he said. The programme of cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO is set out in IPAP of Azerbaijan.
