New Cypriot ambassador to Iran meets Iranian FM

TEHRAN,April 9(MNA) – New Cypriot ambassador to Iran Andreas Ignatiou met with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on Sunday and submitted a copy of his credentials to him. During the meeting, Salehi said that Iran is keen to expand its relationship with Cyprus, which is an important member of the United Nations. The Cypriot ambassador also said that his country attaches high importance to its relations with Tehran.
