Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- A touch-and-go situation is now prevailing in the Korean Peninsula due to the confrontational hysteria of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces, who have deployed in south Korea their special operation troops from all arms and services. Under this grave situation the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army announced a crucial statement carrying the fixed will of all servicepersons and civilians in the DPRK to bring the U.S. imperialist aggressors to the final doom. The Korean army and people are now filled with confidence that a Korean war in the 21st century will lead the U.S. to its final ruin, unlike the war in the past century. In 1950 when the Korean War broke out, the DPRK and the U.S. were in sharp contrast in terms of military technical force. The army and people of the DPRK true to the order of the Party and the leader shattered to pieces the myth of the "mightiness" of the U.S. imperialism and started it on the downgrade.
