New Spanish ambassador submits credentials to Salehi

TEHRAN, Jan.5 (MNA) – Spain’s new ambassador to Iran, in a meeting on Wednesday, submitted a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi. During the meeting, the two sides discussed Tehran-Madrid relations and emphasized the necessity of expanding bilateral ties in all spheres. The new Spanish ambassador called for cooperation in all areas and expressed hope that the relations between the two countries would be promoted during his tenure.
