No Step Forward Without Risk, CE

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, in a meeting with the members of Afghanistan International Chamber of Commerce, said that the chamber has so far taken firm steps towards the country’s economic development and done more for investment improvement and validity of Afghanistan at the global level, Bakhtar News Agency reported Sunday. He said no step forwards would be possible unless to accept some risks, as according to him, when the people tend investors and traders are engaged in investment and work inside the country, then they become hopeful for the future, according to the agency. The members of the chamber said they were hoping the policies could be implemented well and that insecurity will not prevent economic development, the agency added. The chamber, meanwhile asked for one of its representatives membership at the council of ministers’ economic committee and the private sector committee, with the CE approving the suggestion for the membership at the council of ministers.
