NORTH KOREA'S SUPREME ASSEMBLY CHAIRMAN TO VISIT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A delegation headed by Choi Tae-Bok, a chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the DPRK, will pay an official visit to Mongolia November 18-22 by invitation of the Parliament Speaker of Mongolia. The N.Korean delegation will be received by the President Ts.Elbegdorj, then the Speaker Z.Enkhbold will hold negotiations with them. Mr Choi will also receive some Ministers. The delegation will leg Mongolia's State University, its School of Information Technology, the State Central Library, and visit Darkhan-Uul aimag. Mongolia and the DPRK established diplomatic relations in October 15 of 1948, opened their embassies in 1951. The State Great Khural of Mongolia set up the Mongolia-N.Korean inter-parliamentary group in 1998. A delegation led by Kim Wang-su, a head of the North Korea-Mongolia inter-parliamentary group at the Supreme Assembly, visited Mongolia in 2007. In a scope of the cultural ties, Mongolians have been taking part in the annual Spring Festival from 1986. After the 2012 parliamentary election, the State Great Khural re-established the inter-parliamentary group, and selected a Vice Speaker of Parliament S.Bayartsogt as its leader. B.Khuder
