Over 200 different events planned within frame of Cross Year of Kyrgyzstan and Russia

Bishkek, Feb.14, 2020. /Kabar/. The opening ceremony of the Cross Year of Kyrgyzstan in Russia and Russia in Kyrgyzstan will be held on Feb. 27 in Moscow. The event will be held with the participation of two presidents, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government reported. More than 200 events, covering political interaction, economic, cultural and humanitarian, scientific and educational, military and technical cooperation, interaction in the spheres of youth policy, tourism, healthcare, interregional cooperation are planned within the framework of the Cross Year. The decision to declare 2020 the Cross Years of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation and the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic was taken by two leaders within in the framework of the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan on Mar. 28, 2019. An organizing committee was established to prepare and conduct the Cross Year in order to further strengthen allied relations and strategic partnership, as well as to fully promote cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
