PETROLEUM IMPORTERS WILL BEAR RESPONSIBILITY

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Saturday, the cabinet meeting made some decisions on oil importing companies.
Last week, the "NIC" company stated that it would increase prices on fuel products, and some fuel traders began selling petroleum to those with cards only.
An obligation was given to O.Magnai, a head of the Authority for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection, to impose responsibility upon those who have a special license for importing and for running wholesale and retail sell of fuel for breaching the law on competition.
The Minister of Justice was ordered to impose legal responsibilities upon those who ran a deliberate action to cause huge damage to enterprisers, people and the national economy.
The Ministers of Mining and of Justice will also fund out how and on which criteria the special license had been given to oil importers and traders. They are told also to work out a proposal on refining upon the legal environment of responsibilities and to submit it to the cabinet.
