PM arrives in Nakhon Phanom

BANGKOK, March 27 (TNA)-- Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha and his delegation arrived in the northeastern province of Nakhon Phanom this morning amid a warm welcome, during which the premier had said the government is set to make developments in various sectors to improve the lives of the people. The premier said the main objective of this visit was to meet up with the residents of Nakhon Phanom to listen to their problems, as well as to follow up on the progress of developments in the province to ensure better living condition for the people in line with the government's plans to drive the country forward. The prime minister was also scheduled to visit the Study Centre of Sufficiency Economy According to His Majesty's Initiative of Neun Nam Kam Village, in Renu Nakorn distrct. The delegation would then pays homage to Phra That Phanom at Phra That Phanom Woramaha Vihara Temple. Phra Tat Panom is in the process of presenting data to UNESCO in order to get listed as the next world heritage site. Prime Minister chairs the meeting of Joint Government-Private Sector Committee for Upper Northeastern Province Cluster at Nakorn Phanom University before visited One Stop Service for Investment at Office of Nakorn Phanom Special Economic Zone in the provincial seat.
