PRESIDENT AND PREMIER GIVE THEIR VOTES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At 10.00 am on Wednesday, the President Ts.Elbegdorj gave his vote to the election of Citizens' Representative Khural of aimags, soums and city's districts, at the 4th electoral section in Sukhbaatar district. A head of the electoral section G.Oyuntsetseg welcomed the State Head and introduced him to situation. Some 200 people gave votes by 10.00 am, she said. "Today is the responsible day for people to choose leaders of their localities. We made this day a holiday so that to allow people to actively participate in the election. I say that a person who did not give the vote does not have a right to rest. Giving the vote is a responsibility of everyone," Mr Elbegdorj stressed. The same day at 11.00, the PM N.Altankhuyag cast his vote at the 44th electoral section in Songinokhairkhan district. According to a report from this section, some 150 people out of 1,638 registered participated in the election by 11 am. The Premier urged people to actively take part in the elections. B.Khuder
