President Kim Il Sung's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Syria

Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- A Syrian preparatory committee for celebrating the 107th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung was formed on Mar. 9. Mohammed Shaban Azzooz, chairman of the Syrian Arab-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period between Mar. 9 and April 16 and decided to hold diverse political and cultural events in praise of the President's exploits. -0-
