President Meet With China's Xi Jinping

Jakarta, Sept 30 (Antara) - China`s President Xi Jinping is scheduled to meet with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono during his first state visit to Indonesia on October 2 and 3. A press statement issued by Yudhoyono`s Staff Office for International Affairs on Monday pointed out that the leaders will discuss bilateral cooperation in various sectors, namely economic, defense, security, maritime and fisheries, as well as people to people contact. In addition to this, both the presidents will also discuss regional and international issues, such as cooperation in the East Asia Summit, Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the United Nations. President Xi Jinping is also scheduled to meet with Indonesia`s Chairman of People`s Consultative Assembly Sidarto Danusubroto and Chairman of the House of Representatives Mazuki Alie and attend a business luncheon with entrepreneurs from both Indonesia and China.
