President Putin arrives in Bishkek to attend regular session of CSTO CSC

Bishkek, Nov.28, 2019 /Kabar/. President of Russia Vladimir Putin on Thursday, Nov. 28 has arrived in Kyrgyzstan to attend the regular session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO CSC). Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov met the Russian leader at the Manas International Airport. A bilateral meeting of Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Vladimir Putin is expected to be held on the margins of the regular session of the CSTO Collective Security Council. The Collective Security Treaty Organization is an international organization whose goal is to strengthen peace, international and regional security and stability. Members of the organization are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The CSTO Summit is slated for Nov. 28. During the session, an exchange of views on international and regional security within the framework of the CSTO will take place. The agenda consists of 21 items. The main political document will be the statement of the Collective Security Council of the CSTO on improving international cooperation and cooperation in order to strengthen global and regional security, which was put forward on the initiative of Kyrgyzstan.
