President: Turkey stands against regional countries’ militarisation

Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 1 / Trend R. Hafizoglu / Turkey is standing against the militarisation of regional countries, Turkish President Abdullah Gul was quoted by TRT Haber TV channel as saying. According to Gul, the militarisation of regional countries will serve to weaken their economy. Gul said that some countries are competing in the arms race that could lead to serious consequences in the region. Unfortunately, some regional countries have weapons of mass destruction, Gul said.
