Prospects of bilateral inter-parliamentary co-op between Kyrgyzstan and France discussed in Paris

Bishkek, Nov.19, 2019. /Kabar/. Meeting of Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Chingiz Aidarbekov and Chairwoman of the France-Kyrgyzstan Friendship Group of the French Senate Nathalie Goulet took place yesterday, Nov. 18 in Paris. The sides noted the positive nature of the development of relations between Kyrgyzstan and France and discussed the prospects of bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said. Highlighting the ongoing development processes in Kyrgyzstan, Goulet assured of France's friendly attitude towards strengthening cooperation, and emphasized the opening of the diplomatic mission of the Kyrgyz Republic in France will contribute to further strengthening of friendly relations. The French Senate member informed that in order to strengthen inter-parliamentary cooperation in 2020 the visit of members of the Friendship Group to Kyrgyzstan is planned. The parties also discussed issues of development of interregional cooperation and strengthening of business contacts between business circles of the two countries. Print
