R.JIGJID MEETS BAVARIAN DELEGATION

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The temporary acting State Secretary of the Ministry of Mining, Mr R.Jigjid received a delegation led by Ms Katja Hessel, the Bavarian State Secretary of the Ministry for Economy and Technology of the Federal Republic of Germany on November 6. Ms Hessel said Bavaria is interested in cooperating with Mongolia in producing value-added mineral products, "we have a highly developed industry and Mongolia is rich in natural resources." In response, Mr Jigjid said the Mongolian mineral resources and the Germany high tech and economical capacity determine a mutually beneficial investments' level, and expressed an interest in collaborating with Germany in creating here the national geological office and in the industrial sector.
