Russia Attaches Great Significance To Iran’s Parliamentary Elections

Tehran, March 3, IRNA -- Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said his country attached great significance to Iran’s ongoing parliamentary elections because the elections will serve as a prelude to the presidential elections. Addressing his weekly news conference in Moscow on Friday, he added that the elections are undergoing their normal course and the fact that some people criticize the elections is quite natural and not weird.
