Saif bin Zayed, Australian Justice Minister meet to discuss relations

Abu Dhabi (WAM): H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, received Australian Justice Minister Michael Keenan and his delegation. The meeting included a banquet served in honour of the guests. The two sides discussed cooperative ties, focussing on areas of judiciary and law enforcement, including existing bilateral agreements between the U.A.E. and Australia on mutual assistance and extradition of criminals. Also, the talks covered a number of the latest regional developments, notably security issues and counter-terrorism. Attending the meeting were Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Staff Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Under-Sectary of the Ministry of Interior for Resources and Support Services, and other senior officials.
