Saif bin Zayed inspects UAE Force within Peninusla Shield in Bahrain

Manama: H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, has conveyed greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the UAE Force participating in the Peninsula Shield Force (Gulf Waves 7) during a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain yesterday. Sheikh Saif paid an inspection visit to the command of the UAE Force and shared a lunch banquet with officers and personnel. He also expressed pride of the people and government of the UAE in the humanitarian, patriotic mission the UAE Force is performing within the GCC joint defence cooperation agreement. ''We are all soldiers of right and justice and no voice other than the call of duty will prevail,'' the minister emphasised. Sheikh Saif said he was proud of the loyal UAE citizens who answered the call of duty to support their brothers in Bahrain, defend the right of innocents to security and stability, deter saboteurs and foil their criminal plots. Bahraini Interior Minister Lt. General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa along with senior officers were at the airport to greet Sheikh Saif and his accompanying delegation upon arrival. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
