Sanctions Damage Possibility Of Iran-US Talks : Former US Official

New York, June 30, IRNA – Former US politician Thomas Pickering said that unilateral sanctions against Iran are only ruining chances of talks between Washington and Tehran. Pickering said such measures will not help the process of settlement of nuclear disputes either. Pickering, who served as under-secretary of state and US ambassador to Russia, told IRNA in an exclusive interview that the White House has to concentrate on the issue of talks with Iran.
