SPEAKER AT ASIAN YOUTH ASSEMBLY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 13th General Assembly of the Asian Youth Council is running at the State House May 18-21. On Tuesday, the Chairman of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold addressed the meeting with the World Youth Assembly and the Asian Youth Council. He congratulated the Government of Mongolia, the Ministry of Population Development and Social Welfare, the World Assembly of Youth, the Asian Youth Council and the Youth Union of Mongolia on organizing such an event participated by over 600 young people from all over Asia, and wished them success. He said he highly values an importance of "One Asia 2015: The 13th Asian Youth Council General Assembly", "the co-organizer of the event--the Youth Union of Mongolia--has quite a history, it took active part in the democratic progresses of Mongolia in 1990’s". "The Union passed the test of time, and is now walking in line with the global organizations for youth". Mr Enkhbold also stressed that it is crucial for the young generations to join the United Nations Sustainable development goals at their own wills to express their opinion in a democratic way and to unite for achieving their objectives. As Mongolia is a country of youth, the Government supports the youth activities by all possible means. "I have no doubt that this Assembly will be a foundation for new friendship, cooperation, achievements and initiatives," he said. Mr Z.Enkhbold also wished the gathered to find solutions for the pressing issues facing the youth in the region, continent and the whole world, and to lead them for change.
