STATE-OWNED HOSPITALS TO BE UNITED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Central Clinical Hospital for Armed Forces at the Defense Ministry and the Hospital for Special State Servants at the Ministry of Justice will be united, becoming thus the Unified Hospital for Defense and Law Enforcement Servants. A decision on it was made at a regular cabinet meeting on Saturday. The unified hospital will belong to the Defense Ministry. In view of this, a building, which is being constructed for the Hospital for Special State Servants, will be reconstructed in suitability for the General Prosecutorial Department, office of the Ministry of Justice and Legal Center for Citizens, with a capital of MNT 10.6 billion from the state budget. It is expected it will put into use in May next year. The two hospitals with 550 beds in total accept about 15 thousand patients a year. More than half of their patients are civil people. It has been calculated that 50 billion togrog will be saved thanks to unifying the hospitals. B.Khuder
