Supreme Leader attends Arbaeen ceremony at Hosseinieh Jamaran

TEHRAN, Jan. 15 (MNA) – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei attended the Arbaeen ceremony marking the end of 40 days of mourning for Imam Hussein (AS) and his 72 companions, which was held at the Hosseinieh Jamaran (the house of Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini) on Saturday morning with the participation of students and academics. The religious observation occurs 40 days after the day of Ashura, which is the tenth day of the lunar month of Muharram and the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS).
