Tbilisi airport stops working due to heavy fog

Tbilisi, Georgia, Jan. 29 By Nana Kirtzkhalia -Trend: Due to heavy fog the Tbilisi International Airport could not receive four flights. As the administration of the airport told Trend on Jan.29, early this morning the airplanes from Munich, Istanbul and Warsaw were not able to land at the airport. The plane which arrived from Warsaw managed to land in Kutaisi. The airplane of Lufthansa company from Munich returned, as well as the plane from Istanbul. At the same time three planes failed to take off in Tbilisi. As the administration said, the three flights were postponed, and will be implemented as soon as the fog clears. Translated by M.L.
