Thai foreign minister says Vietnamese private sector understands Thai business sector

BANGKOK, July 9 (TNA) -- Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai said that meeting of Thai-Vietnamese foreign ministers have created a joiint benefit as the Vietnamese private has expressed better understanding of the Thai business sector. Mr Don said after the 2nd Thai-Vietnam Foreign Ministers' Retreat that his official visit to Vietnam this time around would benefit both countries and would play a big part in steering the CLMVT grouping forward. Mr Don said his meeting with the Thai and Vietnamese businessmen, apart from touching on the importance of the private sector's role which helped to push trade and investment forward, he also create better understanding and create confidence among Vietnamese investors on the Thai business sector. He noted that talks with the deputy premier, foreign minister and state counselor of Vietnam had given him the chance to exchange experiences with all of them. The foreign minister also taken the opportunity on behalf of Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-o-cha to invite Vietnamese president and premier to attend the ACD Summit in Thailand between October 9-10, in which both leaders had already accepted the invitation.
