Thai PM attends ASEM summit

MONGOLIA, July 15 (TNA) – Prime Minister Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha attended the 11th Asia – Europe Meeting in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, marking the 20th anniversary of inauguration of ASEM in 1996 at the first summit in Bangkok, Thailand. The Thai Prime Minister today attended opening ceremony of the 11th Asia-Europe Meeting and met with ASEM stakeholders, including state councils, business sector, youths, and civil society sector. Gen Prayuth delivered a speech during the second plenary session on “Promoting ASEM Partnership for Greater Connectivity”. After that the prime minister will leave Shangri-La Hotel for Chinggisiin Khuree Complex to attend cultural activities and Nomadic Festival-Naadam. Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj will host dinner in honor of heads of states and government. (TNA)
