Training on GMP introduction held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Training on fortifying a quality system in medicine controlling activities ran last Friday to improve an effectiveness of the watchdog over medicine factories for introducing good manufacturing practices (GMP). The training attendees were given lessons on an importance of introducing the quality system over actions of state inspectors of drugs and biochemical products, fundamental issues of the quality system, its basic principles and requirements, and understanding about how to monitor the system. A national standard has been worked out in accordance with international standard with an aim to ensure a proper consumption of medicines, as a part of strengthening the regime of medicine safety within the Health Sector Development Programme-4, being co-implemented by Mongolia’s Ministry of Health and Sport and the Asian Development Bank.
