TS.ELBEGDORJ MEETS BULGARIAN COUNTERPART

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In frames of the 9th Asia Europe meeting /ASEM/ summit, the Mongolian President Mr Ts.Elbegdorj met with the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr Rosen Asenov Plevneliev on November 6. Mongolia wants to strengthen its traditional friendly relation and cooperation with Bulgaria. Many Mongolians who speak the Bulgarian language may assist in strengthening of a cooperation, besides, the sides can cooperate by establishing food and or medicines industries, said the leader of Mongolia. He also said the Mongolian side wants to continue and develop a collaboration in such spheres as tourism, sports, culture, education and sciences. A great impetus will be given to this work, if Bulgaria re-opens its Embassy in Ulaanbaatar in near future, he said. The President of Bulgaria Plevneliev said his country's economy will improve soon, so it is possible to re-open the Embassy within two or three years. Bulgaria boasts pharmaceutical industry, so "we can cooperate in this sector." The President of Mongolia asked Bulgaria's leader to send a high group to the ministerial meeting of the Community of Democracies, which will run in April 29 of 2013 in Mongolia, and invited him to Mongolia with a visit.
