Turkey denies news story on a deal between Turkey and U.S. for military intervention to Syria

MUNICH (A.A) - February 5, 2012 - Turkey denied a news story which claimed that Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton agreed for a military intervention to Syria. Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Selcuk Unal said Sunday that a news story published in a daily today which claimed that Davutoglu and Clinton agreed for a military intervention to Syria in their meeting within the scope of the 48th Munich Security Conference was baseless. The UN resolution on Syria was discussed in the meeting, but a military intervention was not brought up, he said.
