Turkey strongly condemns latest terror act in Pakistan

ANKARA (A.A) - January 13, 2012 - Turkey has strongly condemned the latest terror act in Pakistan on Friday. In a statement released Friday, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has stated that Turkey learned with deep sorrow the killing of 35 individuals in a bomb blast in Jamrud city of Kyhber region on January 10, 2012. We strongly condemn this terror incident that targeted Pakistan's stability and wish God's mercy to those who died and speedy recovery to those wounded and we offer condolences to the families of the victims, the MFA said. Turkey shares the pain of the brotherly Pakistani government and people and want to stress that Turkey's support to Pakistan in counter-terrorism would continue, the MFA also said.
