Turkey will continue to develop relations with every region of Iraq, says Economy Minister Caglayan

IRBIL (A.A) - January 18, 2012 - Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan said Wednesday that Turkey would continue to develop relations with every region of Iraq. Caglayan attended the inauguration of the "Irbil Business Forum" in Irbil on Wednesday. Speaking at the inauguration of the forum, Caglayan thanked everyone for the hospitality displayed in Irbil. I feel at home here, Caglayan noted. Just last year, Turkish contractors were involved in projects worth 2.5 billion USD in Irbil. One fourth of all containers that arrive in Turkey's second biggest port Mersin is being carried to Irbil. These figures tell a lot about our trade with Iraq, Caglayan said.
