Turkish Airlines plane makes emergency landing due to lightning strike

According to the TV channel, after the plane rose into the air, the pilot informed the dispatchers that the lightning hit the plane and made an emergency landing in Istanbul airport Ataturk. The TV channel reported that the place was seriously damaged by the lightning strike. This is already the second case this week when the Turkish Airlines planes make an emergency landing. Earlier, a Turkish Airlines plane en route from Istanbul to London made an emergency landing on Nov.25. The cause was a smell of burning. All passengers were evacuated and the flight was cancelled.
