Turkish foreign minister calls to end bloodshed in Syria

BEIRUT (A.A) - January 15, 2012 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that parties should exert efforts to end bloodshed in Syria. Davutoglu, who held a meeting with Hezbollah's parliamentary group chairman Mohammad Raad in Lebanon on Saturday, briefed him about Turkey's Syrian policy. They also discussed recent developments in the Middle East and Syria issue. Davutoglu said that the pressure of Syrian regime was continuing, and related parties should exert efforts to end the pressure and bloodshed. Everybody should be careful against a clash among sects in the region, he said.
