Turkmen Economy and Development Minister to visit Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, April 4 / Trend V. Zhavoronkova / Turkmen Economy and Development Minister Babamurat Taganov will visit Azerbaijan to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Baku on April 7-8, the Turkmen embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend on Thursday. During the visit, Turkmen minister plans to hold several meetings in the Azerbaijani government to discuss the bilateral cooperation. The World Economic Forum (WEF) organises the forum on 'Strategic dialogue on the future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia' in Baku on April 7-8, WEF said. Issues of developing such sectors as industry, natural resources, transport, infrastructure, agriculture, finance and telecommunications will be discussed at the Baku forum. It will become an important platform for regional and global players for evaluating the main challenges and opportunities associated with the future of the region and contribute to the development of cooperation and integration in the South Caucasus and Central Asia, WEF said.
