Two Syrian generals crossed into Turkey

Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 28 / Trend A.Tagiyeva / Two Syrian generals crossed into Turkey with their families, Dünya newspaper reported on Friday. Alongside them, a total of 55 soldiers and other servicemen with their families also crossed the border. Currently, Turkey hosts the largest number of Syrian refugees. According to the Office for the Prevention and Emergency Management (AFAD), the number of Syrian refugees in Turkey has reached 105,000. It's been more than a year and a half since clashes between armed opposition and government forces erupted in Syria. According to UN data, the total number of victims of the conflict in Syria exceeds 30,000. There are more than 230,000 refugees and about three million people in need of humanitarian aid. According to human rights defenders, the death toll in Syria exceeds 45,000. Syrian officials claim that they are opposed by well-armed militants. Do you have any feedback?
