UAE Consul General, Hawaii Governor discuss cooperation

HONOLULU, 12th March, 2015 (WAM) -- Abdulla Al Saboosi, the UAE Consul-General in Los Angeles, and the Governor of Hawaii, David Ige, have discussed cooperation fields between the UAE and Hawaii in the tourism, investment and renewable energy fields. This came during Al Saboosi's first official visit to Honolulu to meet key local officials and businesspersons and to highlight the strong economic and cultural ties between the UAE and the US. He also met with the students of James Campbell High School, the largest public high school in Hawaii, and discussed the Arab Language teaching programme and other programmes. Al Saboosi delivered a lecture on trade relations between the UAE and Hawaii within the Pacific Forum and briefed them on the strong relations between the UAE and the US and the need for more economic and educational exchange. A number of officials attended the forum.
