UAE-EP Parliamentary Friendship Society announced in Brussels

Brussels: A UAE Friendship Society at the European Parliament (EP) was announced yesterday at the EP headquarters in the presence of Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and Sulaiman Hamed Salim Al Mazrouie, the UAE's Ambassador to Belgium and Head of the UAE's Mission to the European Union (EU). A number of EP members, who have worked and are interested in the UAE, took part in the event. Friends of the UAE in the EP praised the active role of the UAE at regional and European levels and affirmed their support for the UAE's discussions with the EP within the framework of bilateral cooperation and consultations.
