UAE Foreign Minister condemns blast in Istanbul

ABU DHABI, 15th January, 2016 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, has condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Istanbul's Sultanahmet district, killing a number of civilians and wounding several others. During a telephone conversation last night with Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Turkish Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah expressed the UAE's solidarity with Turkey, saying that the UAE rejects terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, whatever the motives and justifications, stressing the country's keenness to intensify its efforts to combat these criminal acts.
