UAE named Deputy Chairman of Board of Directors of International Training Centre of ILO

Abu Dhabi (WAM): The Board of Directors of the International Training Centre of International Labour Organisation (ILO) has named the UAE as Deputy Chair, from 2014- 2017, during the Board meeting held in Italian City of Turin. Abdul Rahman Al Marzouqi, Director of International Relations Office at the Ministry of Labour, said the UAE was unanimously named to occupy the post. He added that upon the directives of Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Labour, the Ministry would be keen to represent the UAE in the Board through its new post, a move, he said would further strengthen the country's status in this international platform. - Emirates News Agency, WAM – http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395272007608.html
