UAE participates in 4th meeting of Executive Bureau of Arab League's Council of Information Ministers

CAIRO, 12th January, 2016 (WAM) -- The UAE participated in the 4th session of the Executive Bureau of the League of Arab States' Council of Information Ministers. The event, held yesterday at the Secretariat General of the Arab League, witnessed the participation of representatives of the member states of the Executive Bureau from Egypt, Kuwait, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Djibouti, Iraq and the UAE as well as representatives of the Arab media federations and bodies affiliated with the Arab Information Ministers' Council. Khalifa Al Tunaiji, the UAE Acting Permanent Representative to the Arab League, led the UAE delegation to the meeting. The two-day event discussed the 14 items on the agenda, including re-reading of the Arab media strategy as it is deemed a road map that aims to develop the media discourse in such a way as to be able to build a media message and establish a group of professional and ethical media values and principles.
