U.S.-S. Korea Joint War Drills under Fire

Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces kicked off the Ssangyong drills simulating a landing operation against the DPRK, advertising it as the climax of the OPLAN 5015 aimed to strike the supreme leadership of the DPRK and its major core facilities through an "operation for advancing into Pyongyang" and at "bringing down the social system of the north" accompanied by a surprise landing on its territory. Commenting on this, Minju Joson Sunday says: This goes to prove that their war hysteria against the DPRK has already gone beyond the tolerance limit and they are going reckless in carrying out their scenario to ignite a war against it while Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 joint military exercises are under way. It is the resolute stand of the DPRK army and people that the reckless saber-rattling of the U.S. and south Korean warmongers should not be overlooked any longer.
