VICE HEALTH MINISTER GETS AU FAIT WITH WINTERING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Vice minister J.Amarsanaa got connected online to aimags' Health departments, which have installed the telemedicine devices, to get au fait with wintering December 18. The heads of these departments informed the Vice-Minister about heavy snows, scarcity of spare parts and fuel, and asked him to solve debt problems caused by the budget cut. Mr Amarsanaa told them about decisions made December 14 at a meeting of Emergency commission. Four helicopters are ready--two in the city and two in the city's Nalaikh district, so if any matter of life and death happens the departments can call to the Ministry, he said. Apart of it, a medical and first aid services for herdsmen must be ensured, and all medicines, facilities and vehicles must be always ready, and the departments' heads should send him lists of necessary spare parts, medicaments and fuel, he said. After this, Sukhbaatar province asked Amarsanaa to provide them with GPS, Dundgovi province's officials asked to draw attention to life insurance of medical staffers. Ch.Enkhtuya
