Yemeni government imposes 8pm curfew on Aden City

ADEN, 4th January 2016 (WAM) --- The security commission of Aden Governorate has imposed a curfew from 8pm to 5am on Aden City after militants laid siege on the seaport in Mualla district in a bid to force out the government security force. The curfew will come into force tomorrow, Monday. The move, made at an emergency meeting chaired by Governor of Aden, Brigadier Aidarous Qasim Al Zubaidi, is aimed at countering groups which seek to undermine security and stability in Aden, according to the state Yemeni News Agency.
