President of Zimbabwe receives Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

Harare, October 09, 2023, SPA -- The Zimbabwean President, Emmerson Mnangagwa, received at the Presidential Palace in Harare, Zimbabwe, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Affairs Envoy, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, during his official visit to Zimbabwe.
During the meeting, Al-Jubeir conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and their wishes to the government and people of Zimbabwe for further progress and prosperity.
The President sent his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to HRH the Crown Prince, and to the government and Saudi people. The two sides engaged in discussions concerning their relations and explored opportunities for their further development across various fields. They also exchanged views on multiple matters of common interest.
President Mnangagwa affirmed his country's support for the Kingdom's bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh. Furthermore, he expressed his country's backing for the Kingdom's bid to host the World Cup in 2034.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Zambia and non-resident Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Ali bin Saad Al-Qahtani, as well as the Director-General of the Minister's office, Ambassador Khalid bin Musaed Al-Anqari.
