Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia meet in Ulaanbaatar

Bishkek, July 10, 2023 . / Kabar / . An official meeting ceremony between Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh took place on Sunday.

The Kyrgyz leader's motorcade arrived at the State Palace in Sukhbaatar Square, where he was met by Ukhnaagiin Khuerlsukh, the President of Mongolia, and his wife Luvsandorjin Bolortsetseg.

The state flags of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia were hung out on the square, and a detachment of horsemen in ceremonial uniforms stylized as the personal guards of the first Great Khan of the Mongol Empire were lined up.

Then the leaders and their spouses were photographed together, and the national anthems of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia were played.

The presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia introduced the members of the official delegations of the countries and welcomed the diplomatic corps represented in Mongolia.

The two leaders and their spouses then proceeded to pay their respects to the monument to Genghis Khan.

Further, Sadyr Zhaparov left a memorable entry in the Book of Honorary Guests with best wishes to the people of Mongolia, followed by a joint photo session of the heads of state with their spouses.

At the end of the official meeting ceremony, the leaders and their spouses moved to the hall for a bilateral meeting.
