Progress Made in Irrigation Project

Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK has directed big efforts to perfecting the irrigation system in the region.

The province newly built one hundred and dozens of pumping stations this year and completed the project for laying pipelines planned to be finished by the end of April.

It is now repairing defective elements while conducting trial operations of pumping equipment and pipelines to make them display their viability in early-crop farming. -0-
