Sadyr Zhaparov's working visit to Russia ends

Bishkek, May 26, 2023. /Kabar/. The working visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to the Russian Federation, which took place on May 24-25, has ended, the press service of the head of state reported.

As part of his working visit, on May 24, the president of the Kyrgyz Republic in Moscow took part in the plenary session of the II Eurasian Economic Forum “Eurasian Integration in a Multipolar World”.

The heads of the EAEU countries and delegations answered questions regarding integration processes, accelerating digital transformation, development of transport and logistics infrastructure, development of Eurasian institutions, additional measures to support business initiatives, etc.

The next day, May 25, a regular meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) was held in narrow and expanded formats.

Issues of trade and economic cooperation within the Union, as well as issues of international cooperation and further integration in the Eurasian space were discussed.

As a result of the regular meeting of the SEEC, a number of decisions and documents aimed at developing economic cooperation and further deepening integration within the EAEU were adopted and signed.

Having completed his working visit to Russia, on the night of May 25-26, Sadyr Zhaparov returned to Bishkek.
