Sci-tech Dissemination Brisk in Rural Areas of DPRK

Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- A hot wind of studying has been witnessed in rural areas across the country to prepare all the farmers as intellectual workers and masters of scientific farming.

The Tanggok Farm in Kangnam County, Pyongyang City, posted visual aids reflecting advanced farming methods according to each process at the agricultural sci-tech learning spaces and showed demonstrations for applying them in practice.

After building an agricultural sci-tech learning space, the Hyongsan Vegetable Farm in Hyongjesan District, Pyongyang City, has directed efforts to raising the level of technical knowledge among farmers.

The Junghung Farm in Samjiyon City of Ryanggang Province and the Ingye Farm in Hoeryong City of North Hamgyong Province set a model workteam farming in a scientific way and have generalized successes and experience.

The Unha Farm in Unjon County of North Phyongan Province disseminates agricultural science and technology in a diverse and effective way so that farmers voluntarily turn out in scientific farming.

The Kobo Farm in Wiwon County of Jagang Province and the Wau Farm in Taedong County of South Phyongan Province provided equipment and facilities necessary for disseminating science and technology to make sure that farmers study technology effectively. -0-
